Lead Forklift Operator - 2nd Shift - Morris, IL

Pay: 24.50 Hourly

Essential duties and responsibilities

•  Function as the team lead when supervisor is not present by answering employee questions, troubleshooting problems, and promoting efficient operations.
• Transports product to and from designated areas in the facility
• Loading and unloading goods from vehicles such as trucks
• Moving goods packed on pallets or in crates around the storage facility
• Stacking goods in the correct storage bays, following inventory control instructions
• Checking loads are secure
• Stacking empty pallets
• Performing daily equipment checks such as recharging the truck’s battery and lubricating equipment
• Removing machine attachments and waste material from machines
• Examining products to verify conformance to quality standards
• Dumping materials into machine hoppers

Qualifications

• Ability to represent Dart in a professional and positive manner 
• Understanding of basics operations and ability to explain to employees
• Ability to mentor and coach employees
• Ability to foster a team oriented, respectful and productive work environment 
• must have a good attendance and be reliable
