Sr Cost Analyst

We are looking for a Senior Analyst – Product Costing & Margin Analytics to serve as the financial expert for a specific substrate family (paper, plastic, foam, etc.). In this role, you will provide accurate, transparent costing and actionable insights that empower smarter pricing, product development, and operational decisions.

Key Responsibilities & Results

• Develop and maintain detailed cost models for assigned substrates and production processes.
• Provide costing support for RFQs, new product development initiatives, and business case evaluations.
• Partner with operations, procurement, and engineering to validate assumptions and uncover savings opportunities.
• Highlight cost and margin risks and opportunities to business and finance leadership.
• Support standardization of cost methodologies and ensure consistent reporting across business units.
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Engineering with 3–7 years in product costing, plant finance, or FP&A, preferably in a manufacturing setting. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
• Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Excel-based cost modeling; experience with SAP.
• Knowledge: Solid understanding of standard costing, bill of materials, and manufacturing cost flows.
