What are the responsibilities and job description for the Janitor I position at Dart Container?

Dart is looking for an experienced Janitor on the 7am-3pm shift, with some weekends required. We pay $20/hr to start!

What You’ll Do

Perform a variety of cleaning, sanitation, and janitorial tasks throughout the facility.
Clean and sanitize common areas including lunchrooms, break rooms, bathrooms, and conference rooms.
Vacuum, sweep, mop floors, and empty trash bins.
Replenish supplies and notify supervisors of low inventory.
Dust surfaces and clean glass as needed.
Support production areas by cleaning equipment, removing debris, and assisting with basic maintenance tasks.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Follow safety, quality, and efficiency standards (KPIs).
Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

What We’re Looking For:

Ability to follow instructions and workplace procedures.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Basic English proficiency for safety and training communication.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous janitorial experience.
Familiarity with cleaning tools, equipment, and chemicals.
Understanding of Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS).
