Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) professional to lead our safety and compliance initiatives at our manufacturing facility in Quitman, MS.
- Maintain regulatory compliance by overseeing EHS programs, managing audits, delivering training, tracking chemical inventories, and conducting incident investigations with Root Cause Analysis.
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for safety and quality.
This role requires a proactive leader with a proven track record in EHS management and a passion for safety. The ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering or other science field.
- Three years of experience managing EHS issues or six years of experience managing EHS issues with a High School diploma or equivalent.
The successful candidate will possess knowledge of business and management principles, including people management, leadership guidance, and regulatory reviews. Experience with Microsoft Office, specifically creating reports, documents, presentations, and spreadsheets in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint is also required.
