Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage incoming vendor deliveries and internal company transfers, including reviewing bills of lading (BOLs), packing slips, and transfer documentation to ensure accurate receiving procedures.
- Utilize warehouse management and company software systems to receive, track, reconcile, and document incoming inventory and transfers accurately.
- Investigate, document, and resolve shipment discrepancies, shortages, damages, and inventory variances by coordinating with Purchasing and Accounts Payable departments while maintaining detailed records.
- Load, unload, move, and organize materials using manual handling methods and warehouse equipment, including forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and SkyTrak equipment.
- Maintain organized inventory storage and proper stock rotation practices, while assisting with inventory accuracy and reporting discrepancies to supervisors.
- Assist with pulling, staging, and assembling customer orders accurately and efficiently while providing warehouse support and information to internal departments as needed.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse and yard environment in accordance with company housekeeping and safety standards.
