Truck Yard Associate
Pay: $17/hour (paid weekly)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:55 AM– Until the work is completed
Employment Type: Temporary
Location: (Garden City) Savannah, GA 31408
Position Summary
We are currently hiring a reliable and motivated Truck Yard Associate to support daily yard operations. This role requires working outdoors, assisting with securing and releasing cargo, and maintaining a clean, organized yard under the direction of the Yard Supervisor. Dependability, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work well with others are key to success in this position.
Primary Responsibilities
- Secure and release cargo on trucks and containers using proper strapping methods
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the yard in accordance with supervisor guidance
- Complete general labor duties to support overall yard operations
- Follow all company safety standards and procedures at all times
- Communicate clearly and effectively with supervisors and team members
Qualifications
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong work ethic with a dependable and positive attitude
- Ability to follow instructions and collaborate within a team environment
- Prior forklift experience is preferred but not required
- Physically capable of lifting, pushing, and pulling heavy materials
