Warehouse Sustainability Maintenance Representative (Savannah, GA)
About the Role
We are hiring a Warehouse Sustainability Maintenance Representative to support one of our clients in Savannah, GA. In this role, you’ll help keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe, while also managing pallets and kegs.
This is a Temp-to-Hire position based on performance — a great opportunity to grow into a long-term role with the client.
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:45 PM
- Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour
What You’ll Do
- Keep the warehouse clean and safe.
- Stack, wrap, and organize kegs by brand and size.
- Stack and manage pallets by style and size.
- Ensure kegs and pallets are secure and stable.
- Assist with inventory counts.
- Complete daily power equipment checklists.
- Report any safety or equipment issues in writing.
- Operate equipment safely and efficiently.
- Help maintain warehouse security.
- Empty trash and return receptacles to the proper area.
- Load/unload delivery trucks and check in products.
- Load plastic and cardboard into bailers.
- Perform other warehouse duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- High school diploma, GED, or vocational diploma preferred.
- 6 months warehouse experience strongly preferred.
- Experience using an electric pallet jack, forklift, or other equipment is a plus.
Skills We’re Looking For
- Clear verbal communication.
- Ability to read, write, and do basic math.
- Able to follow directions accurately.
Working Conditions
- Non-temperature-controlled warehouse (heat, humidity, weather exposure).
- Moderate to loud noise levels.
- Work around moving vehicles, dust, and fumes.
- Must be able to work independently with little supervision.
Physical Requirements
- Reliable, consistent attendance.
- Safely operate pallet jacks, forklifts, hand trucks, and scrubbers.
- Stand, walk, lift, carry, and handle materials.
- Lift up to 75 lbs, including overhead lifts.
- Ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Good vision for distance, depth, and spatial awareness.
