Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive guest services to enhance their dining experience
- Assist with food and beverage orders using Toast POS systems, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
- Support food preparation, food handling, and sanitation standards to maintain a safe and clean environment
- Manage table seating, reservations through Toast Tables, and coordinate guest flow for optimal service delivery
- Upsell menu items and specials to increase sales while providing personalized recommendations based on guest preferences
- Buss tables promptly, clear dishes, and assist with general restaurant cleanliness to uphold sanitation standards
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering duties and basic math calculations
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems (training provided)
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with guests and handle guest relations professionally
- Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy service hours
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for cashiering and sales transactions accurately (if required in your role).
