Dark Arrow Is Hiring | Level 3 Security Officers | Rockdale, TX | $30/hr
Dark Arrow is expanding and currently seeking experienced Armed Security Officers to support one of the largest active construction sites in Central Texas.
We are looking for professionals with military, law enforcement, or seasoned security backgrounds who are comfortable operating in highly visible, client-facing roles within a large-scale industrial environment.
Compensation / Position Type:
- $30/hour starting pay
- 1099 Contract Position
- Net 14 payment schedule
Available Shifts:
- 05/30 – Night Shift | 1800–0600
- 05/31 – Night Shift | 1800–0600
- 06/06 – Night Shift | 1800–0600
- 06/07 – Night Shift | 1800–0600
- 06/13 – Night Shift | 1800–0600
- 06/14 – Night Shift | 1800–0600
Job Duties:
- Control access at gated entry points, verify credentials, and manage authorized entry in accordance with site policies.
- Provide a highly visible armed security presence while maintaining a professional and service-oriented approach appropriate for a large construction environment.
- Conduct proactive patrols by vehicle and on foot to deter criminal activity and identify safety concerns.
- Count, document, and monitor industrial equipment staged onsite while reporting any visible damage or irregularities.
- Maintain strong situational awareness and make sound decisions in a dynamic operational environment.
- Safely perform duties in varying weather conditions, including extended standing, walking patrols, and 8- to 12-hour shifts.
Work Environment:
- Personnel will operate from a climate-controlled field office equipped with:
- Refrigerator
- Microwave
- High-speed internet
- Officers may be required to periodically refuel the onsite generator during shifts.
Requirements:
- Active Texas Level III Commissioned Security License
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable transportation
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Strong communication and decision-making skills
- Military, law enforcement, or prior armed security experience preferred
