What are the responsibilities and job description for the Packaging Operator - Night Shift position at Darigold Brand?
Darigold is seeking a motivated Packaging operator to be part of Darigold’s Lynden Washington plant. The Production Operator must possess the desire and ability to contribute to the success of the Lynden plant. As a member of the Operations team, the Packaging Operator will work with others to achieve team goals. The Packaging Operator’s role is to work independently without direct supervision in a fast-paced environment. This is a union position.
What You Will Do
• Operation of the 25kg filler, tote filler and forklift operation, in accordance with Darigold standard operating procedures, good manufacturing practices, and all regulatory requirements.
• May be assigned on projects in other areas when needed.
What You Will Bring
- Ability to work independently and safely without direct supervision in a fast- paced environment.
- Attention to detail, must be able to complete multiple and/or repetitive tasks.
- Ability to maintain legible, accurate documentation.
- Work with others to achieve team goals.
- Must be able to maintain reliable attendance and timeliness.
- Must be capable of heavy lifting (up to 56 pounds).
- Ability and commitment to consistently follow instructions and training provided, work while wearing required personal protective equipment, and comply with all other job safety and food safety standards.
- Experience working in a food processing/manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.
- Experience driving and operating Forklifts strongly preferred.
- Must be able to work all shifts, weekends, and holidays. This facility operates 24/7/365.

Salary Range: $26.87 to $29.86 per hour
