Immigration Associate Attorney

Darian Immigration Law is a growing family-based immigration firm located in Bardonia, in the Nanuet area of Rockland County, NY. With a strong YouTube following, hundreds of educational videos, and steady consultation demand, we’re hiring our first associate attorney to help lead the practice as it grows.

This is an opportunity to take ownership of client matters, mentor an experienced paralegal team, and help build the firm.

• Base salary: $125,000–$160,000, depending on experience.
• Performance bonus based on retained cases, with the opportunity for strong performers to earn $200,000 or more in total annual compensation.
• Pathway to profit sharing for an attorney who helps grow the firm.
• 401(k).
• 15 days of paid time off, plus paid holidays.

• Conduct client consultations, assess eligibility, recommend strategies, and help prospective clients move forward with representation.
• Review and give final approval to immigration filings, including I-130, I-485, I-751, N-400, waivers, and RFE/NOID responses, with increasing independence as you become familiar with our practice.
• Supervise and mentor experienced paralegals.
• Appear at occasional hearings before the NYC immigration courts.
• Over time, participate in the firm’s YouTube videos and help grow our educational content.

• JD and active bar admission in good standing in at least one U.S. state; New York admission preferred.
• Five or more years of immigration law experience, primarily in family-based immigration and naturalization. Strong candidates with three to four years will be considered.
• Confidence conducting consultations and explaining legal options clearly.
• Careful, organized review skills and sound legal judgment.
• Interest in growing a law practice, improving systems, and building client relationships.
• Fluency in a second language is a plus.
• Ability to work in our Bardonia office, in the Nanuet area, five days per week. This is an in-office position.
