Role Description
This is a contract role for an Assistant Varsity Basketball Coach. The Assistant Varsity Basketball Coach will be responsible for supporting the head coach in planning and executing daily practices, training athletes, and developing game strategies. Additional responsibilities include scouting the opposition, maintaining equipment, and adhering to school athletic policies. This is an on-site role, located in Wilmington, NC.
Qualifications
- Basketball Coaching, Coaching, and Basketball skills
- Strong Communication skills
- Experience in Training and developing athletes
- Ability to work collaboratively and support the head coach
- High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus
- Previous coaching experience at the high school or college level is preferred
