Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Logistics Dispatcher role based in Scottsdale, AZ. The Logistics Dispatcher will track freight movement, including scheduling and tracking drivers, with a strong focus on time-sensitive shipments. Responsibilities include maintaining constant communication with drivers and carriers, monitoring load status, updating tracking systems, and proactively resolving delays or route issues. The role also involves providing timely updates to customers, confirming pickup and delivery details, and ensuring that service expectations are met. The Logistics Dispatcher will collaborate closely with internal team members to support operational efficiency and uphold DLS’s high standards of reliability and customer care.

- Professional phone etiquette and clear communication skills for interacting with drivers, carriers, and customers.
- Commitment to excellent customer service and customer satisfaction, with a solutions-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced logistics environment, prioritize tasks, and make sound decisions under time pressure.
- Previous experience in trucking, logistics, or transportation dispatch is preferred; experience with refrigerated freight is a plus.
- Proficiency with dispatch or transportation management systems and basic office software (e.g., email, spreadsheets).
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work on-site in Scottsdale, AZ on site.
