Dental Hygienist - Part Time

Dardenne Dental Arts is looking for a skilled, energetic, team oriented Dental Hygienists to join our exceptional team of dental professionals. Whether you are new to hygiene or have years of experience as a hygienist, we have lots to offer and would love to hear from you. We are a privately owned dental practice and have a genuine care and appreciation for our patients and our dental team. Attention to detail along with great customer service are a must for this position. We are currently hiring for a part time position for every Tuesday from 8 - 5 . Job Summary:

• Examine patient oral health and conduct oral health education and counseling
• Conduct scaling and root planing on patients requiring periodontal treatment
• Ensure patient comfort by listening to patient needs and educating them on current dental procedures
• Serve as a positive impact on office culture and maintain a professional work environment
• Be willing and able to demonstrate your ability to abide by the practice’s protocols for patient care, insurance claims and charting, educating patients as well as navigating Eaglesoft software

Skills

• Proven experience as Dental Hygienist
• In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations in this profession (e.g. HIPAA)
• Outstanding communication skills
• A patient and friendly personality
• Attention to detail
• Strong organizational, strong clinical and excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask, take initiative and anticipate the needs of others
• Ability to project a positive, warm, and professional image in person, on the phone and in the practice.

Requirements:

• State license in dental hygiene
• Infiltration/Block/ Nitrous Oxide Certified
• CPR certification

Pay: From $65.00 per hour

License/Certification:

• Dental Hygienist License (Required)
