Automotive Service Advisor / Writer

DARCARS of Frederick is now seeking Automotive Service Advisor / WriterAs the Automotive Service Advisor / Writer you are responsible for presenting, consulting and selling automotive warranty products and repair services to the customer in a professional manner while adhering to the manufacturer’s published maintenance schedule and requirements and company policy. In addition, you will build rapport with customers to promote customer satisfaction and customer retention.In this role you'll:Greet customers in a timely, friendly manner and obtain pertinent vehicle informationAdvise customers on the care and the value of maintaining their vehicles in accordance with manufacturers’ specificationsGenerate and provide customers with a complete and accurate estimate of repair ordersEstablish and communicate completion time of repair with customer and technicianAnswer incoming service callsMaintain and schedule service appointmentsFollow prescribed procedures for customer post follow-up resulting in return visits, increased sales and excellent CSIFollow the manufacturer’s warranty guidelines and proceduresConduct business with high integrity that maintains the manufacturer Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) and DARCARS specified goal(s)Comply with all federal, state and local laws, and company policy, regarding the safeguarding all customer, company and manufacturer information, as well as customers vehicle and propertyMust be able to manage in a fast paced work environment with limited supervisionMust have great customer service, phone and computer skillsPrevious automotive Service Advisor experience highly preferredMust be a minimum of eighteen years of ageMust have a valid driver's licenseMust be able to pass pre-employment screening (background)BenefitsCompetitive pay and opportunities for bonusComprehensive Benefits Plan including 401kPTO and Paid HolidaysEmployee discounts on vehicle purchases, parts and service repairsOpportunities to join our community service initiativesThis job advertisement in no way states or implies that these are the only duties and responsibilities to be performed by this employee.  This advertisement is merely a preview of the role in solicitation.
