Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Metal Fabricator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will preferably have a background in metal fabrication processes. The Metal Fabricator will work closely with engineers and other team members to ensure that all projects are completed efficiently and accurately.
Duties
- Fabricate metal parts and assemblies by interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
- Utilize tools such as tape measures and calipers to measure dimensions and ensure precision in fabrication.
- Assemble fabricated components into final products, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
- Follow industry codes and standards for fabrication processes.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve fabrication processes.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in metal fabrication or related fields.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, including blueprints and schematics preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Experience operating forklifts is preferred.
- Knowledge of industry codes and standards related to metal fabrication is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
