We are hiring a Journeyman or Master Electrician. You will lead residential and commercial projects from start to finish. Duties
- Install and fix systems: Lead setup, repairs, and maintenance for residential commercial electrical systems.
- Read blueprints: Interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and layouts accurately.
- Troubleshoot issues: Diagnose and fix electrical problems quickly using diagnostic tools.
- Follow codes: Maintain strict safety compliance with NEC and local electrical regulations.
- Work safely: Manage high-voltage projects securely using safe work practices.
- Train apprentices: Supervise and mentor junior electricians on the job.
- Keep records: Track and document all completed work and inspection files.
- Use tools: Handle hand and power tools efficiently on construction and renovation sites.
- Collaborate: Work closely with managers, contractors, and clients to finish jobs on time and on budget.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician license with proven experience in industrial and commercial electrical systems.
- Experience with electrician tasks such as troubleshooting electrical systems
- Knowledge of NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code), NEC standards, and local electrical codes.
- Demonstrated ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, schematics, and blueprints reading skills essential for accurate installation.
- Hands-on experience with electrical diagnostics using tools and familiarity with power tools is required.
- Proven construction site experience with renovation projects or new builds in residential or commercial environments.
- Skilled in troubleshooting complex electrical systems quickly to minimize downtime.
- Knowledge of low voltage systems, schematics reading, and blueprint interpretation is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a proactive approach to safety procedures on all job sites.
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
