Hours:Tuesday–Saturday, 10:00 AM–6:00 PM
We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Administrative Assistant who enjoys working in a fast-paced, animal-focused environment. This role supports daily operations by providing administrative and clerical assistance to staff and leadership while helping ensure the smooth, efficient functioning of our adoption center.
The ideal candidate is organized, professional, and comfortable managing multiple priorities while delivering excellent internal and external customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer and route incoming phone calls in a professional manner
- Schedule appointments, meetings, and events
- Prepare meeting notes, correspondence, reports, and other documentation
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems
- Assist with routine administrative tasks and office coordination
- Support staff with day-to-day operational needs
- Serve as a point of contact for visitors, volunteers, and external partners
- Maintain office policies, procedures, and general organization
- Collaborate with leadership and administrative staff to support ongoing projects
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous experience in an administrative or office support role preferred
- Familiarity with office systems, procedures, and equipment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
- Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems is a plus
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- High attention to detail with the ability to multitask effectively
- High school diploma required; additional administrative training or certification is a plus
