Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Installation Manager with large scale conveyor & material handling experience to join our team.
The Mechanical Installation Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the installation project, from planning and budgeting to execution and completion across all trades. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in installation management, excellent organizational and leadership skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
This job will require travel to sites and will also require in-person office work from our Hamilton, OH location.
Experience:
- 10 years of DFW conveyor mechanical installation experience.
- Strong knowledge of material handling including parcel.
- Large crew management.
Duties:
- Plan, coordinate, and manage construction projects from start to finish.
- Develop project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure project specifications are met.
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure deadlines are met.
- Maintain presence onsite to inspect work quality and adherence to safety standards.
- Manage project documentation, including contracts, permits, and change orders.
- Communicate with clients and stakeholders to provide updates on project status.
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during construction.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Locate at relevant jobsite.
Skills:
- Proficiency in management software (ProCore) and a willingness to learn/operate internal systems.
- Strong knowledge of installation and management techniques and practices.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.
- Familiarity with construction related software.
- Strong understanding of mechanical management principles and practices.
- Effective project coordination abilities to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and across all departments and leads.
