Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Medical Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care within a fast-paced environment. This position requires both clinical and administrative skills to support healthcare providers and ensure the smooth operation of our facility.
-The practice has 2 locations: Bolton, MA, and Quincy, MA
- Prior experience with Athena EMR is preferred but not mandatory.
- Pay rate will commensurate with prior experience and ability to work in multiple locations( $24-$27 per hour)
- (16- 30) hours per week.
Duties
- Assist healthcare professionals with patient examinations and procedures.
- Measure and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Prepare patients for examinations by taking medical histories and documenting relevant information.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by physicians.
- Perform routine laboratory tests and assist with diagnostic procedures.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with medical regulations.
- Provide medical administrative support, including scheduling appointments, managing patient flow, and handling insurance documentation.
- Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and medical equipment.
Skills
- Proficient in medical terminology relevant to various healthcare settings.
- Strong understanding of patient care protocols.
