The DAR Boys & Girls Club is looking for a dependable, positive person to join our After School Program Team in the Games Room.
You'll work directly with youth ages 7–18, helping create a safe, welcoming, and fun environment through board games, card games, video games, puzzles, and other activities. You'll build relationships with members, encourage positive behavior and teamwork, help resolve conflicts, and keep the Games Room organized and ready for programming.
The work can be busy and unpredictable, but if you enjoy working with kids and want meaningful part-time work, this can be a very rewarding position.
What We're Looking For
- 18 years or older
- Dependable, responsible, and positive
- Comfortable working with children and teens
- Patient and able to stay calm when things get challenging
- Enjoys games and interacting with youth
- Able to set appropriate boundaries while building positive relationships
- Able to communicate and work well with a team
Youth development or recreation experience is helpful, but we care most about finding someone who genuinely enjoys working with kids and wants to make a difference.
Schedule
Monday–Thursday: 3:00 PM–7:00 PM
Friday: 3:00 PM–6:30 PM
15–20 hours per week
Location: DAR Boys & Girls Club, Menominee, MI
Pay & Benefits
Starting at $14/hour, based on experience
