Mobile Dog Groomer – Full-Time – Long Island

DapperTails of Long Island is hiring a full-time Mobile Dog Groomer to join our growing team. We’re a groomer-first company founded by dog groomers, and we’ve built our business around supporting the people doing the work every day.

In this role, you’ll provide one-on-one grooming services in a fully equipped company van at clients’ homes throughout our service area. We’re looking for someone experienced, dependable, professional, and genuinely committed to quality pet care and client service.

Responsibilities:

• Perform full grooming services including bathing, drying, brushing, clipping, nail trims, ear cleaning, de-shedding, and sanitary trims
• Travel to scheduled appointments throughout the service area
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized van
• Communicate professionally with clients
• Keep accurate grooming notes and client records
• Follow company standards for grooming quality, safety, and customer care

Qualifications:

• 2 years of pet grooming experience
• Clean Driver's License
• Strong knowledge of breeds, coat types, and grooming techniques
• Strong customer service and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently and handle dogs safely
