Job Description:
We’re looking for a skilled, compassionate Pet Groomer to join our mobile grooming team. This role is perfect for someone who loves animals, has strong grooming skills, and wants more than just a standard grooming position.
Responsibilities:
- Travel to clients’ homes in the company grooming van (or your own, if applicable)
- Provide grooming services including bathing, brushing, haircutting, nail trimming, and ear cleaning
- Assess pets’ coats and skin for issues and report concerns to pet owners
- Maintain a clean and safe grooming environment
- Build strong relationships with clients and their pets to encourage repeat business
- Help develop and improve local operations as our customer base grows
Qualifications:
- 2 years of professional grooming experience (mobile grooming experience is a plus)
- Strong knowledge of grooming techniques and tools
- Comfortable working with pets of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to work independently
Pay and Benefits:
- Base Pay: 30-40% commission of all sales resulting in $28-$32 per hour roughly
- Earnings Potential: With tips and bonuses, total hourly earnings can reach $35-$45 per hour
