Attendant Job Description
Job Title: Attendant / Flex Maintenance
Reports To: Senior Manager/ Maintenance Manager/ Assistant Manager
Position summary and general purpose:
Promote and provide high quality customer service to carwash customers.
Role qualifications:
- Minimum of 18 years of age.
- Demonstrated ability to serve as a representative of the company and thus converse professionally and knowledgably with carwash customers.
- Flexibility in work hours to accommodate company needs to include evenings, weekend and holiday hours.
Position responsibilities:
- Essential duties include but are not limited to the following.
- Greet Customers with a friendly smile and warm welcome
- Be knowledgeable regarding the car wash operations and wash options so as to be able to assist customers in making a car wash and payment selections.
- Guide cars into wash with a focused, pleasant, and competent demeanor.
- Perform visual inspections of the condition of each vehicle prior to sending them through the wash.
- Be proficient with all policies and procedures and able to perform them on a daily basis as needed.
- Perform regularly scheduled maintenance on vacuum equipment to ensure cleanliness and proper working order.
- Keep vacuums unclogged, hoses hung properly, and trash cans emptied.
- Ensure that entire property and facility is kept clean and ensure everything is kept in the proper place and organized.
- Pressure washing, minor repair, overall general cleaning of wash tunnel.
- Meet or exceed customer expectations.
Supervisory responsibility:
No supervisory responsibility.
Physical demands and work environment:
- Ability to do occasional lifting of up to 40 pounds (physical)
- Ability to stand for long periods of time, 60% to 100% of the time. (Physical)
- Ability to work outdoors in excessive weather. (Hot/Cold) (Physical)
- Ability to use computerized database system for documentation and record keeping (visual).
- Ability to communicate with customers, co-workers, supervisors and other professionals in person and by telephone. (Verbal, Visual, Hearing)
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.90 - $19.50 per hour
