Duties
- Supervise daily activities within the daycare and boarding areas, ensuring all pets are cared for with compassion and attention to detail
- Coordinate pet drop-offs and pick-ups, providing excellent customer service and clear communication with pet owners
- Oversee staff schedules, training, and performance to maintain a motivated and knowledgeable team
- Ensure proper animal handling, restraint, grooming, feeding, and sanitation protocols are followed consistently
- Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular sanitization of kennels, play areas, and common spaces in accordance with pet care facility standards
- Monitor pet behavior to identify signs of stress or illness; implement appropriate interventions or notify veterinary professionals as needed
- Manage inventory of supplies such as cleaning products, pet food, grooming tools, and veterinary supplies
- Lead outdoor activities and supervise team lifting during setup or cleanup tasks to ensure safety for staff and animals
- Check on inventory and keep documented list of everything needed that week
- Be able to communicate effectively with superiors on daily activities and coordinate for events.
Skills
- Proven veterinary experience or veterinary technician background to understand animal health needs
- Experience in pet sitting, kennel management, or pet boarding operations demonstrating responsibility for multiple animals
- Strong dog handling skills coupled with animal behavior knowledge to ensure safe interactions
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely during kennel setup or cleaning routines
- Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with pet owners and address their concerns confidently
- Knowledge of animal restraint techniques and outdoor work experience for supervising playtime or outdoor walks
- Familiarity with pet care facility sanitization practices to maintain a hygienic environment
- Team lifting experience combined with outdoor work skills to support facility maintenance tasks effectively

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 – 62.0 per week
