What are the responsibilities and job description for the NDT Level II Radiographic Inspector position at Danville Metal Stamping Co?
Danville Metal Stamping Co., Inc. is hiring for an NDT Level II Radiographic Inspector for 3rd shift. NDT Level II Radiographic Inspectors are responsible for the verification of aerospace part specifications utilizing x-ray and other inspection equipment.
Essential functions of the position include:
- Use of x-ray and inspection equipment to complete final and in-process product inspection to DMS and customer requirements
- Maintain lab and inspection records
- Daily use of computer programs, including, but not limited to Microsoft Office and IFS
- Daily communication with employees at all levels of the organization
- Daily housekeeping/6S duties
- Lifting up to 50lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation
- Walking and/or standing 8 or more hours per shift
- All other duties as assigned
Qualifications for the position include:
- Prior education, experience, or certification in x-ray, manufacturing inspection processes, or related field is preferred - required training for applicable certifications with be provided to selected candidate
- Demonstrated understanding of manufacturing processes is preferred
- Prior experience with blueprint reading is preferred
- Demonstrated computer skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and detailed-oriented environment
Compensation and Benefits Summary:
- Pay Range: $18.00-$20.00/hour (prior to successful certification completion)
