General Responsibilities
- Rehearsal Facilitation: Assist the Director in facilitating rehearsals for all three show choir groups throughout the week, providing guidance and support to students in vocal and choreographic rehearsals.
- Program Organization: Aid in the overall organization of the show choir program, including scheduling rehearsals, coordinating performances, and managing logistical aspects of the program.
- Fundraising: Collaborate with the Director and students to plan and execute fundraising initiatives to support the show choir program's financial needs, including budget management and donor relations.
- Competition Season Support: Assist with preparations for competition season, including coordinating travel arrangements, organizing costumes and props, and providing logistical support during competitions.
- Show Design: Contribute creative input to the design and development of show choir performances, including assisting with music selection, choreography development, and stage direction.
- Midwest Classic Support: Assist in the planning and execution of the annual Midwest Classic show choir competition hosted by Danville High School, coordinating logistics, recruiting volunteers, and providing support during the event.
- Supervision: Provide supervision and support to show choir students during rehearsals, performances, and events, ensuring a safe and positive environment for all participants.
