Virtual American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreters Needed!

Job Description

American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreters are needed for remote and virtual on-demand ASL Services for professional educational meetings during the hours of Monday - Friday, 7 am - 4:00 pm ET.

Duties:

Provide quality remote and Virtual on-demand American Sign Language (ASL) services.

Requirements:

• Must be certified in American Sign Language (ASL)
• Must be punctual and arrive 15 minutes early to each assignment
• Must be professional (in appearance and in behavior)
• For virtual and on-demand assignments, must have reliable equipment and internet to successfully complete the assignment including, but not limited to, a laptop, computer with webcam, use closed captioning services, etc.
• Must adhere to the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID) Code of Professional Conduct and RID’s Code of Ethics.
• Must be familiar with using Zoom Virtual platform.

Compensation:

• Remote/Virtual ASL Services: $55/hour (Hours: 8 am - 5 pm (ET); services can be provided anywhere in the U.S.)
• On-Demand ASL Services: $60/hour (Hours: 8 am - 5 pm (ET); services can be provided anywhere in the U.S.)
