SAP PP + Variant Configuration Analyst

Key Responsibilities

• SAP PP Functional Responsibilities
• Configure and support SAP PP modules including:
• Master Data (Material Master, BOM, Work Centers, Routing)
• Demand Management
• MRP / MRP Live
• Capacity Planning
• Production Orders
• Repetitive Manufacturing & Make-to-Order scenarios
• Design and implement end-to-end manufacturing planning solutions aligned with semiconductor equipment manufacturing.
• Translate business requirements into SAP PP functional design documents (FS / WRICEF).
• Optimize MRP performance, lead times, and planning strategies.
• Support shop floor execution, production order confirmations, and variance analysis.
• Handle production planning issues, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Work closely with SAP MM, WM/EWM, SD, QM, PM, and FI/CO teams.
• Support interfaces with MES systems, PLM tools, and 3rd‐party planning applications.
• Participate in S/4HANA transformation projects, brownfield/greenfield rollouts.

• Participate in SAP implementations, rollouts, and upgrades.
• Provide L2/L3 production support, including incident resolution and change requests.
• Prepare and execute unit testing, integration testing, and UAT.
• Develop user training materials and conduct workshops.
• Ensure compliance with SOX, audit, and IT governance standards.

• Strong hands-on experience with SAP PP configuration and support
• Variant Configuration experience
• In-depth knowledge of MRP, Production Orders, Capacity Planning
• Experience in discrete manufacturing (semiconductor / high-tech preferred)
• Strong understanding of manufacturing business processes
• SAP ECC 6.0 and/or SAP S/4HANA PP

• Experience with SAP Demand Driven MRP (DDMRP)
• Exposure to Advanced Planning (PP/DS, APO) is a plus
• Knowledge of MES integrations in semiconductor fabs
• ABAP debugging knowledge (for functional troubleshooting)
• Experience with global manufacturing environments

• Excellent communication with business and technical stakeholders
• Ability to work in fast-paced, global project environments
• Proactive mindset with attention to detail

• Bachelor''s or Master''s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Supply Chain
• SAP PP Certification (Preferred)
