Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain web applications using Python and Django
- Build and consume RESTful APIs using Django REST Framework (DRF)
- Develop database schemas and write optimized queries (PostgreSQL/MySQL)
- Integrate frontend elements with serverside logic
- Implement authentication, authorization, and security best practices
- Write clean, reusable, and welldocumented code
- Perform unit testing, debugging, and performance tuning
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to gather and refine requirements
- Participate in code reviews and follow best development practices
- Assist in deployment and maintenance of applications in cloud environments
- Strong proficiency in Python
- Handson experience with Django / Django REST Framework
- Solid understanding of MVC/MVT architecture
- Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL)
- Knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, and OAuth/JWT authentication
- Familiarity with Git / version control systems
- Understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript (basic to intermediate)
- Experience with Linux/Unix environment
- Good problemsolving and debugging skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Experience with Docker & CI/CD pipelines
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Knowledge of Celery, Redis, RabbitMQ
- Experience with microservices architecture
- Familiarity with testing frameworks (PyTest, Unittest)
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
