Field Service Technician I

The successful candidate will have prior work history and a proven track record in the configuration, operation, and maintenance of hand-held portable computers, as well as desktop systems, and/or servers, as well as wireless networks in an industrial manufacturing environment.
Knowledge and expertise in Windows operating systems management is required (Linux familiarity, in addition, would be beneficial).
Expertise with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office applications is required.
Experience in vehicle diagnostics and fault codes, as well as vehicle electrical and electronics systems is very desirable.
A bachelor’s Degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science and/or Information Technology would be beneficial.
The successful candidate will work efficiently and respectfully with others throughout all levels of a large corporate hierarchy.
Professional appearance, personal integrity, and excellent interpersonal skills are a must, as are strong oral and written communication skills.
He/She will interface regularly with management and engineering groups regarding systems and product performance – initiating, reporting on, contributing, and responding to suggestions for improvement.
Virtual as well as interpersonal collaboration with vehicle engineering and tooling engineering personnel to resolve unusual problems in system operations through structured problem analysis and troubleshooting should be expected.
The successful candidate will be self-motivated, driven, and conscientious. They will work well under pressure and with a well-practiced sense of urgency. They will display a positive state of mind, be very self-controlled, patient, tactful, and diplomatic.
A willingness and ability to organize and maintain an orderly and clean working environment are imperative.
Some flexibility in scheduling is to be expected. There is potential for occasional travel.
Details of how the job supports the client: Ensure that all equipment is functioning for the assembly lines that produce Ram pickups from scratch. Supply the necessary tools and technology for testing, gather the data, and assist management in understanding it to improve vehicle production (Stellantis carries out the electrical tests on every vehicle).
Typical Day:
Ensuring that all equipment is operational for every assembly line that produces Ram pickups from scratch.
Repairing the machine on the assembly line and then going to the plant manager's office to explain the necessary actions.
Straight 8hr shift; 6a-3p (two 15 min breaks and 30 mins lunch)
Salary : $23 - $26
