Job Title: Embedded Software Engineer

The LM MFC Grand Prairie location is seeking a highly skilled Embedded Software Engineer to support the development, integration, and testing of embedded software solutions. This role requires strong technical expertise in software engineering and development, particularly in real-time systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Designs, develops, operates, and maintains software and firmware components and computing systems software.

• Applies the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the system development life cycle.

• Interfaces with customers, suppliers, application users, and other technical and support personnel.

• Develops both embedded software and test software used to integrate and test the embedded software devices.
">
• Works closely with the team to implement, integrate, and test embedded software solutions.

Requirements:

Essential Skills:

">
• Must have an active DoD Secret Clearance.
">
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience.

• Must work onsite full-time.

• Experience in software engineering and software development - specifically embedded real-time systems.
">
• Ability to interpret customer needs and work with the team to develop software solutions, product backlogs, and provide technical feedback to the team.

• Linux/Windows proficiency.
">
• Experience working with an RTOS.
">
• C /ADA programming skills.
">
• Experience integrating embedded devices.
">
• Experience integrating software with FPGAs.
">
• Experience integrating hardware and software.
">
• Experience integrating closed-loop systems.
