What are the responsibilities and job description for the Technical Sales and Support Associate position at Danomics?
This is a full-time role with a dual mandate in sales and support
- Technical support: You will help provide both reactive and proactive technical support to customers to help them overcome challenges they face in the software.
- Technical sales: You will engage with both existing and new customers to drive sales higher.
This role is primarily remote, but you will be expected to visit customer offices on a regular basis.
Responsibilities include:
- Responding to and documenting customer help requests
- Building and maintaining help documentation
- Conducting on-site and remote training sessions for customers
- Proactively working with customers to ensure they are fully utilizing the platform
- Prospecting for and closing new customers
You don’t need to have any prior experience in Danomics - we’ll teach you what you need to know, but you will need to be comfortable working with basic equations and understand the workflows used in oil and gas.
Qualifications:
- Ability to read / write basic scripted equations [e.g., (gr_final - $gr_clean)/($gr_clay - $gr_clean) ]
- Experience with basic Python scripting a plus, but not required
- Experience in the oil and gas industry (either as a subsurface professional or data tech)
- Some knowledge of geology, petrophysics, reservoir engineering, or common oil and gas data types is a plus
