Kitchen Manager/Cook

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Leader to join our culinary team from the scenic lakeside of Dano's Pub. The ideal candidate will have a strong background leadership and fast paced food preparation . As a Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our guests enjoy high-quality meals that meet our quick serve dining standards.

Duties

• Lead, Develop and hold accountable yourself and team.
• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
• Manage food preparation processes, ensuring quality and consistency.
• Supervise kitchen staff and assist in training new team members.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with the other Managers to manage inventory, including ordering supplies and budgeting for kitchen needs.
• Assist with bar service, including coffee preparation and bartending when necessary.

Skills

• Strong leadership and self starter skills required
• Strong culinary skills with experience in food preparation and safety techniques.
• Ability to manage kitchen operations effectively, including budgeting and inventory management.
• Experience in supervising staff, fostering teamwork, and enhancing productivity.
• Knowledge of fine dining standards and the ability to create visually appealing dishes.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and owners.
