The Staff Accountant will support the finance team by maintaining accurate financial records across both Danny Wimmer Presents and our Southern Hospitality portfolio of venues. This role will be responsible for accounts payable, revenue entry, reconciliations, and general ledger support. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and comfortable managing multiple financial workflows across different business entities.

The estimated salary range for this position is $70,000 – $85,000 and includes medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) benefits. This represents the typical salary range for this role and is just one component of DWP's total compensation package for employees.

This role will be responsible for accounts payable, revenue entry, reconciliations, and general ledger support. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and comfortable managing multiple financial workflows across different business entities.
Primary Responsibilities
- Process weekly and monthly payments to facilities, promoters, contractors, and vendors.
- Assist with invoice entry into Ramp for timely and accurate payables processing.
- Complete revenue entries for all venues as soon as data is available to ensure accurate reporting in NetSuite.
- Export, code, and upload daily bank transactions across multiple accounts into NetSuite.
- Submit coded transaction reports to the Soho CEO and update NetSuite records accordingly.
- Perform reconciliations for 8 bank accounts and multiple credit card accounts (Amex, Ramp, and Wells Fargo).
- Reconcile venue cash vaults across various locations, ensuring alignment with operational reports.
- Process artist, contractor, and vendor payments on a weekly/monthly basis for DWP Concerts and DWPTS.
- Assist with manual wire payments and artist settlements during festival season.
- Track and update payment dates in Ramp for all manual payments issued.
- Generate invoices for commissions and settlement payments for DWPTS and DWP Concerts.
- Perform bank reconciliations for all accounts (excluding the main operating account).
- Reconcile corporate credit card transactions for Amex and Ramp cardholders.
- Minimum 2 years of accounting or accounts payable experience.
- Proficiency in NetSuite, Ramp, and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of reconciliation workflows and general accounting principles.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in a deadline-driven environment.
- Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to multitask across teams.
- Self-starter who can work both independently and collaboratively.
- Experience in entertainment, live events, or venue operations is a strong plus.
