The annual salary range the Firm reasonably expects to pay candidates for this position is $130,000 to $175,000. The final annual salary offered will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to relevant experience, skills, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law. In addition to the offered salary, our comprehensive benefits package includes health, dental, and vision insurance; a 401(k) with matching and profit-sharing options; sick and vacation time, along with paid holidays. - Labor, employment and personnel experience
- Prior experience conducting investigations and/or administrative hearings
- Litigation and/or administrative process experience, including handling discovery and preparing pleadings; experience in mediations, arbitrations, and/or trials a plus
- Special education due process and student discipline experience preferred
- Excellent analytical, writing, research, and communication skills
- Flexibility, initiative, and willingness to work on a broad variety of legal matters arising in representing public entities
- Public entity representation is preferred but not required; and prior school district representation is a plus
- Admission to the California State Bar
