What You'll Do
As a Video Monitor, you'll actively observe live surveillance systems, identify suspicious or unusual activity, document incidents, and communicate with clients, field personnel, and emergency responders when necessary.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Monitoring multiple camera systems and surveillance platforms
- Identifying security threats, suspicious activity, and safety concerns
- Responding to alarms, alerts, and critical incidents
- Communicating with clients, field teams, dispatchers, and law enforcement
- Documenting incidents accurately and professionally
- Reviewing recorded footage for investigations and client requests
- Maintaining detailed activity logs and monitoring records

Qualifications
Required
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Strong computer skills and ability to navigate multiple systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask and maintain focus for extended periods
- Ability to pass required background screening and drug testing
Preferred
- Previous security, surveillance, dispatch, CCTV, or monitoring experience
- Security license
- Experience working in law enforcement, public safety, emergency communications, or related fields
Schedule & Work Environment
Our monitoring center operates 24/7, providing opportunities for various schedules.
Candidates must be available to work:
- Days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Overtime when operational demands require
This position is primarily office-based and involves extended periods of monitoring surveillance systems and responding to incidents in real time.
