Coastal Oaks Special Care, a Generations Healthcare is in search of a Central Supply Clerk to join our team.
The primary role of the Central Supply Clerk position is to assist in providing supplies and equipment in an efficient manner, in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations, and as may be directed by the administrator, to assure that the highest degree of quality resident care can be maintained at all times.
Essential Duties (include but are not limited to):
- Receive and follow instructions from your Supervisor and as outlined in our established policies and procedures
- Ensure all purchase orders are properly prepared, signed, and submitted as required in procurement policies and procedures.
- Assist in preparing correspondence and claims concerning damaged merchandise, errors in shipment, etc. and return to vendor as required.
- Assist in developing methods for determining quantity of supplies and equipment required
- Ensure various departments are properly charged with supplies they have received for cost allocation purposes.

Qualifications:
- Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action in a timely fashion.
- Must be knowledgeable of supply practices, procedures, and guidelines.
- Must possess the ability to seek out new methods and principles and be willing to incorporate them into existing practices.
- Must possess, as a minimum, a high school diploma.
