Job Overview
We are seeking a professional, customer-focused, and motivated Customer Service Representative to join our AAA Insurance Agency team. Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service to AAA members and insurance clients via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
- Assist customers with policy changes, billing inquiries, payments, coverage questions, and general account servicing.
- Review customer accounts and identify opportunities to improve coverage, retention, and overall customer satisfaction.
- Process policy endorsements, renewals, cancellations, reinstatements, and other insurance transactions accurately.
- Schedule appointments and follow up with customers regarding policy updates, documentation, and service requests.
- Maintain accurate customer records and documentation within agency management systems and carrier platforms.
- Support insurance agents by preparing quotes, gathering underwriting information, and assisting with administrative tasks.
- Handle inbound and outbound calls professionally while maintaining excellent phone etiquette.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure agency goals and customer service standards are consistently met.
- Stay current on AAA products, services, memberships, and insurance offerings.
Qualifications
- Property & Casualty Insurance License required, or willingness to obtain the license within a specified timeframe after hire.
- Previous customer service, insurance, call center, retail, banking, or administrative experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with customers.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general computer applications.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Professional demeanor with a positive attitude and strong problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with insurance agency management systems, CRM software, or carrier platforms is a plus.
