What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tractor Trailer Driver - 1st Shift 5AM to 3PM position at Daniels Health?
We are seeking an enthusiastic, customer focused driver with a Class A license and experience driving large trucks to utilize your experience across the Allensville, KY area. You will be collecting sharps and medical waste containers from our healthcare customer locations and delivering a high level of customer service daily.

What will your job involve? - Operating straight truck/tractor trailer up to 53ft in a safe manner
- Safely collect, deliver and store our medical waste containers at customer locations
- Providing strong customer service and building positive customer relationships
- Completing deliveries to time schedule and clearly communicating changes
- Loading and unloading and organizing your truck per schedule needs
- Complying with DOT regulations, logging hours and roadside inspections
- Pushing/pulling a four-wheeled cart that weighs as much as 200lbs!!
- Class A license with a clean driving record and VALID DOT MEDICAL CARD
- Minimum 3 years experience operating straight truck/tractor trailer up to 53ft
- Passing our 7 Year FADV review in the Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse
- Experience with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluations
- Experience with DOT compliance, logging hours, roadside inspections
- Can-do attitude with a strong customer focus
- Proven longevity in past employment

- Competitive salary – This position is offering a set rate (non-Negotiable) of $28.00 per hour!
