Hospital Technician - UVA Health University Medical Center 5AM-1PM (copy)

This is not a desk job—you’ll be on your feet, moving, lifting, and making a real impact every day.

UVA Health: 1215 Lee Street Charlottesville, VA

• Working directly with UVA hospital staff to ensure safe and timely medical waste container exchanges and proper segregation


• Inspecting and servicing Daniels Health containers in clinical areas—this includes entering procedural spaces and working around sensitive equipment and patients


• Lifting containers (up to 50 lbs) and pushing/pulling carts (up to 300 lbs) throughout the day


• Maintaining inventory of containers and ensuring all areas are stocked and organized


• Using a company-provided smartphone to manage tasks, report issues, and communicate with your team


• Keeping staging areas clean and orderly before and after service


• Representing Daniels Health with professionalism, positivity, and a strong work ethic

• Someone who’s physically fit, comfortable with heavy lifting, and enjoys active, on-the-go work


• A team player who can also work independently without direct supervision


• Strong attention to detail—especially when it comes to paperwork and procedures


• Reliable personal transportation.


• A can-do attitude and previous experience in a labor-intensive or logistics role

• Job stability - as an essential service to healthcare we are non-seasonal and recession proof


• Consistent work hours - Monday - Friday (5:00AM - 1:00PM)

• Permanent position - This is a Full-time permanent role of 40 hours per week!


• Competitive salary - This position is offering a rate of $19.00-$21.00 per hour!
