We are seeking an enthusiastic, customer focused Yard Jockey with a Class A license and experience driving large trucks to utilize your experience at our Sturtevant, WI plant. This role offers a high degree of autonomy, stable hours, access to some OT and good benefits.

This position is offering a $3k sign-on bonus for new hires. $1k paid after 30 days of employment and $2k paid after 90 days of employment!
\n- Move trailers and other equipment around the yard using a yard truck
- Move trailers back and forth between plant and off-site storage facility
- Ensure that trailers are properly positioned for loading and unloading
- Perform daily safety checks on yard truck and report any issues to management
- Assist with loading and unloading of trailers
- Maintain a clean and organized yard
- Communicate with other yard personnel and management to ensure efficient operations
- Operating vehicles in a safe manner (straight trucks and tractor trailers as large as 26 and 53 feet long)
- Heavy lifting!
- Class A license with a clean driving record and valid medical card
- Willingness to work full time hours, approx. 45 hours a week
- Experience with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluations
- 3 years of driving experience with tractor trailers and/or straight trucks
- A flexible, can-do attitude with a strong customer focus
- Experience operating vehicles in a safe manner (straight trucks and tractor trailers as large as 26 and 53 feet long)
- Experience with DOT compliance, logging hours, roadside inspections
- Confident in a road check level 1 through level 3
- Proven longevity in past employment
- Job stability – as an essential service to healthcare we are a non-seasonal and stable business
