What are the responsibilities and job description for the Interior Designer position at Daniels Design & Remodeling?
We are seeking a dedicated, in-house Interior Designer with specific experience in residential spaces, to work in a dynamic and fast-paced project team environment. Projects include but are not limited to kitchens, bathrooms, additions, and full house renovations.
The selected candidate will be required to meet with clients, develop creative design solutions, assist them with making project selections, and create project packages for the Daniels Production team to act on. We are looking for a team player who is self-motivated, with excellent attention to detail, who can confidently lead and manage the requirements of multiple projects at once, and deliver an outstanding customer experience to clients throughout the entire process.
Responsibilities
- Efficiently lead and manage clients through the design and selections process
- Meet with clients in their homes and at various vendors, as required by the project
- Educate clients on selections which will be beneficial to their lifestyle and/or specific needs
- Populate selections documents with final selections chosen
- Obtain product quotes for project selections
- Order products for project
- Provide selection information support to the Daniels Production team
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree 2 - 3 years of experience in related field
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office suite
- BuilderTrend experience is not required but is a plus
- Strong creative and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to execute as part of a team.
