What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Project Manager (Hybrid) position at Daniels Associates, Inc. (DAI)?
We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead complex technology initiatives across our organization. This role requires strong project leadership, stakeholder communication, and coordination across applications, business operations and infrastructure teams. Technology project management experience is required, and experience with Oracle on premises to cloud migration is a plus.
What You Will Do:
- Lead large scale technology projects from planning through execution and operational transition
- Develop project plans, timelines, budgets, risk logs, and communication plans
- Coordinate with application, infrastructure, and business stakeholders
- Facilitate project governance, executive briefings, and decision tracking
- Ensure ITIL process compliance including change, incident, and problem management
- Collaborate with third party vendors and external partners for successful project delivery
- Monitor risks and dependencies, and drive proactive issue resolution
- Support cutover planning, readiness activities, and post implementation stabilization
- Promote best practices and continuous improvement in project management
What We Are Looking For:
- Five or more years leading complex technology projects in enterprise environments
- Strong project management and ITIL knowledge
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver on time and within scope
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience using project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira, or similar
- Experience managing complex technology modernization projects.
Preferred:
- Experience with Oracle migrations from on premises to cloud
- PMP, Prince2, or similar certification
- ITIL Foundation or higher
- Collaboration with third party vendors and external partners
- Public sector project experience
