Responsibilities

The role is responsible for preparing technical and commercial offers related to consumables and spare parts. The Proposal Specialist ensures accurate costing, proper selection of items, and timely submission of quotations to support sales managers and customers.

Tasks and Day-to-Day activities in the role:

  • Analyze customer requests and technical documents to prepare accurate quotations for consumables and spare parts.
  • Select appropriate items and gather required technical information.
  • Request and evaluate supplier quotes to ensure competitive pricing and lead times.
  • Prepare cost calculations and structure the commercial offer according to company standards.
  • Collaborate with internal departments (sales, purchasing, engineering) to align technical and financial details.
  • Maintain an updated database of items, pricing, lead times, and supplier conditions.
  • Ensure that offers are completed and submitted within the required deadlines.
  • Support the sales team by clarifying technical aspects and answering customer inquiries.
  • Ensure correct handover to the Project Manager once the order is confirmed.
  • Follow-up with the sales managers and customers until the PO is received.

Technical Requirements

  • Preferable technical diploma or bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain, or related field.
  • Preferable experience in preparing quotations or working with spare parts and consumables.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication with both customers and internal teams
  • Ability to learn and utilize internal company ERP system with high level of efficiency.
  • Results-driven mindset with a high level of accountability.
