Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in exploring our curated collection of photographic artwork.
• Provide product demonstrations to highlight features, printing techniques, or framing options, enhancing customer understanding and interest.
• Manage point-of-sale (POS) transactions accurately, including cash handling and processing sales efficiently.
• Upsell by recommending complementary pieces or framing services to maximize customer satisfaction and sales opportunities.
• Maintain organized merchandise displays through merchandising and stocking efforts to ensure an inviting shopping environment.
• Conduct product demos and answer customer questions about photography techniques or artists to foster engagement.
• Support inventory management by tracking stock levels, assisting with restocking, and ensuring the gallery remains visually appealing.
• Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when handling inquiries or scheduling appointments, ensuring professional communication at all times.
• Assist in supervising team members when needed, contributing to a collaborative retail environment that prioritizes customer service excellence.

Qualifications

• Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in a gallery, grocery store, or similar customer-focused setting.
