Role Description The Store Manager role at Daniel's Jewelers in Humble, TX is a full-time, on-site position responsible for leading all aspects of store operations. The Store Manager oversees daily sales activities, motivates and coaches team members to meet performance goals, and ensures a high level of customer service and satisfaction. This role manages visual merchandising, inventory control, and store presentation to align with company standards. The Store Manager also monitors retail loss prevention practices, handles cash management and reporting, and ensures compliance with policies and procedures. In addition, this position participates in local outreach and promotions to grow store traffic and build lasting customer relationships.
Qualifications
- Strong customer-facing skills, including Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction, with a focus on creating positive, memorable experiences.
- Proven Store Management experience in a retail environment, including staff supervision, scheduling, and day-to-day operations.
- Effective Communication skills to engage customers, coach team members, and collaborate with leadership.
- Knowledge of Retail Loss Prevention practices, including shrink reduction, compliance, and safe cash-handling procedures.
- Previous retail or specialty retail experience; jewelry or luxury retail experience is a plus.
- Ability to meet and exceed sales goals through coaching, performance management, and lead-by-example selling.
- Comfort with basic technology, including POS systems, inventory tools, and email communication.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in business, retail, or a related field is a plus.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
