Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with selecting gardening supplies, plants, lawn care equipment, and outdoor maintenance tools.
• Provide expert plant identification and horticulture advice to help customers make informed decisions.
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently for cash handling, sales transactions, and returns.
• Maintain attractive product displays through merchandising and stocking to enhance the shopping experience.
• Support e-commerce initiatives by processing online orders and coordinating in-store pickup or delivery options.
• Manage inventory levels by organizing stock, conducting stock checks, and replenishing shelves regularly.
• Offer exceptional customer service through clear communication, phone assistance, and multilingual support when needed.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening, floral design, and plant identification.
• Experience with POS systems, cashiering, retail math, and cash handling procedures.
• Excellent communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customers.
• Proven organizational skills to manage stock levels and maintain an orderly sales floor.
• Outgoing personality with outdoor work experience and a passion for horticulture and landscaping.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment while providing top-tier customer service.
• Familiarity with merchandising techniques and retail sales strategies to boost product visibility and sales performance.
