Irrigation Laborer

Daniel’s Irrigation is looking for a reliable Irrigation laborer to install and service our client’s irrigation equipment. As a laborer, you will be responsible for but not limited to digging trenches, installing equipment, testing the system, and conducting regular maintenance checks.

To ensure success as an irrigation laborer, you should exhibit a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.

Irrigation Laborer Responsibilities:

• Inspecting and loading equipment for the day’s work.
• Driving to the client’s location.
• Digging trenches and installing pipes and lines.
• Installing pumps and electrical timers.
• Testing the irrigation system.
• Conducting routine maintenance checks.
• Troubleshooting and replacing faulty parts.
• Preforms miscellaneous job duties as assigned.
• May assist in various maintenance activities as assigned.
• Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.
• Ensure service truck is clean and organized, properly stocked with inventory and tools.
• Maintain a professional appearance.
• Maintain a clean driving record.

Irrigation Laborer Requirements:

• Must have a valid Driver’s License & be a U.S. Citizen.
• Must submit to a background check and drug screening.
• High school diploma or GED. (Preferred)
• Proven work experience.
• Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
• Ability to stand for long periods, push or pull objects, and lift 50lbs or more.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to follow routine verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to understand and follow specific instructions and procedures.
• Ability to read, understand, follow, and enforce safety procedures.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
