Position Overview
We’re looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Prep Cook / Pastry Prep Cook to support our kitchen team. This role focuses on food prep, pastry support, and helping ensure events run smoothly through organized and efficient kitchen work.

Responsibilities
• Prep ingredients for savory and pastry items (chopping, measuring, batching, portioning)
• Assist with pastry prep (doughs, batters, fillings, desserts, garnishes)
• Follow recipes, prep lists, and chef instructions accurately
• Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe workstation
• Assist with packing, labeling, and organizing items for events
• Support kitchen team with general prep and light production tasks
• Follow all food safety and sanitation standards
Qualifications
• Previous kitchen or bakery experience preferred (prep or pastry experience a plus)
• Comfortable following recipes and prep lists
• Strong attention to detail and consistency
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs
• Punctual, dependable, and team-oriented
• Food handler certification (or willingness to obtain)
